Sealed With a Fish!

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps
* $10 Gift Certificate

The Stamping Boutique
* Winner’s Choice of 3 Digis

Melonheadz -  http://melonheadzillustrating.blogspot.com/
* $15 Gift Certificate

For my project for Under The Sea, I used the newly released stamp set by The Alley Way Stamps
named Sea Mates.  This is a great set with some adorable images and punny sentiments to go with them.

The fish facing left is the actual image, but I wanted one to face it for a kiss so I used the stamping technique called reverse image stamping.  I found this tutorial from Bo Bunny that will show you how easy it is to reverse any stamp.

I colored these guys with copics then put on a nice thick coat of Crystal Effects so my fisies will shine!

I hope you go over to DYSU and check out the other DT projects....you will be inspired!

Marcy

Sweet Baby Mine

Hi Everyone,

Isn't this one of the cutest babies ya ever saw?  Hee Hee, I think so!  This is my Great Nephew, Evan.
I am working on a board book scrapbook for my niece; his Mom.

I love making these board books.  I buy them for $1.00.  After I cut  the books apart, I sand the pages so that the papers have some "tooth" to grab onto.  I always use gel medium as the adhesive.  I have found through the years that this is the best glue for these books.

The title is stamped with The Alley Way Stamps set, Mad Gab

As I finish the pages, I will post them.

Have a great day and thank you again for stopping by.

Hugs,
Marcy

BLOG HOP

We are thrilled to be teaming up with the Ribbon Carousel today for an amazing blog hop packed with tons of talent and inspiration for your enjoyment
with a pot of gold at the end for the blog hoppers!
That's right.  I mean prizes! We're talking some GREAT prizes!
A little about the Ribbon Carousel -
We have partnered with another Woman-Owned-Business, literally in the same county here in WA state, to help manufacture the Ribbon Carousels©. Sherri is a gem and I am very grateful for all she does. The raw materials are made in the USA.  So the entire product, from design to finish employs and supports people here in the United States.  This was VERY important to me, and I hope it is to you too.  You are getting a product that is of the highest quality, gorgeous, functional and made by two U.S. women-owned businesses.

Now, lets talk about the prizes!
One lucky blog hopper will win a ribbon carousel  and another lucky blog hopper will win TWO stamp sets of their choice from The Alley Way Stamps!

There are TWO MORE prizes up for grabs!  We will be giving away a $10 gift certificate on our Facebook page and The Alley Way Stamps will be giving away a stamp set on their Facebook page (winner's choice!)

Here's what you need to do to qualify for the Facebook prizes:

1. Head on over to the Ribbon Carousel's Facebook pagelook for the post about this blog hop and say hello there!  Be sure to "like" us if you haven't already!
2.Head on over to The Alley Way Stamps Facebook page and say hello there, too!  Be sure to "like" us, too!
3. Come back to our Facebook page and tell us you've done it!
4. Share the post on our Facebook page about this blog hop with a friend for an extra
    chance to win!

So if you came to us by Lisa thanks for hoppin with us and make sure to leave a comment here and on both the Ribbon Carousel's Facebook page and Our Facebook page.. :)

Monster Bookmark

Happy Tuesday,

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day.  I surely did!

Isn't this little monster adorable?  I made this cutie into a bookmark for my nephew who loves to read.
The monster is from The Alley Way Stamps set named Monster Madness

I got the idea from this tutorial at Splitcoast Stampers.
It's really easy to make one, or many,  of these bookmarks for little gifties or favors.
You can see it's magnetized... So clever!

BIG NEWS

DO YOU STACK UP  is having a DT call.
If you've always wanted to be the member of a design team, go on over and check it out.  These ladies are fantastic to work with!!

Thanks for stopping by again today.

Happy Thursday Everyone,

This week at DYSU we have a very easy challenge...use a flower somewhere on your project.
It doesn't get much easier than that!

Here are our fabulous sponsors this week.

Digi Darla  -  http://www.digidarladesigns.com/

I was lucky enough to get some physical product to work with this week.  This beautiful flower came from a set named Flowers by Inspired Stamps.  I stamped the largest flower 3 times onto red card stock.  I cut out the center of one image.  I cut the second flower out  and then cut off a few petals.  Then, I cut the entire image out of the third  flower.  I coated all three pieces with a nice thick layer of  Glossy Accents.  Using foam dots, I stacked the pieces.

I hope you go over to DYSU and check out the rest of the DT creations.

Have a great weekend and thanks for coming by today.

Hugs,
Marcy

I heart you!

Happy Monday Everyone,

Isn't this colander just adorable?  I think so.  It's from Kitchen Gadgets 2, one of the new sets debuted last week at The Alley Way Stamps.  The sentiment is from Mad Gab, which is another one of the
new sets at TAWS.

It's hard to tell. but the colander is stamped onto silver card stock.  I used Staz-On so that it wouldn't smudge.  I stamped the hearts, also from Kitchen Gadgets 2, and colored them in with Copic R27.  Then I used red Stickles on some of the hearts to make them pop.  I added some extra bling on the corners with rhinestones.

I will be giving this card to my DH next month for our anniversary.
Thanks so much for stopping by today,

Hugs,
Marcy

Happy Thursday,

Doesn't this little soaker just make you smile?  I thought it was a girl bear, but HIS name is
Charles Relax.  I chose to ignore that and made her Charlene Relax!

This week at DYSU our challenge is to use circles in your project.

These are the two wonderful sponsors for the challenge.

Crafty Sentiments - Winner's Choice of 4 Images

Folded Paper - Winner's Choice of 3 Digital Stamps

I colored the image with copics then added pearls for the bubbles.

I hope you go on over and check out the rest of the DTs fabulous projects.  Link up your project and you might win a great prize.

Have a great day.

Marcy
