Tea Bag Folding

The latest challenge over at The Cuttlebug Spot was to make a card using a tea bag folding technique. Nilda gave us the website http://www.teabagfolding.circleofcrafters.com/. They are a great source for tutorials and actual printable patterns. I liked this technique and can see myself using it again.

Etched Glass

I made this 12" mirror for my son and new "daughter-in-love." It is really meant to lay flat as a candle platform, but I like how it came out, so I hope they display it on an easel.

I used SB for the sentiment and their names. I just got this cartridge and I love it, love it, love it.
Since the kids just got married, it is perfect for many of the projects I have floating around in my head.

I used cricut vinyl and the cricut brand transfer tape. I've tried using Contact paper, but the cricut tape is really easire to use. It picks up and, more importantly,--releases easier. I haven't tried Wall Pops yet, but will if I can find it discounted at Lowes.

I'm Certified!!

Hi All,

I hope eveyone had a wonderful holiday.

I am so excited, I have just been certified to teach SDU -- Scrapbook, Design & You. This exciting, hands-on curriculum was developed by EK Success Brands’ Education Director, Joy Macdonell. It teaches the basics of scrapbooking in a four week program. Students will learn how color, design, journaling, lettering and embellishments all work together to form the foundation of scrapbooking. I have been teaching scrapbooking for over 8 years now, but somehow this program puts it all together in such a cohesive, organized and thought-provoking way. Anyhow, I am excited about it.

I haven't been scheduled yet, but I think we will begin the classes in June at AC Moore.

This is a card I made for the Cuttlebug Spot. We were challenged to make a card the wasn't square or rectangle.

Check them out over at the website, there are some really beautiful ones.
