Hee Hee,

I just love this image!!  It makes me laugh every time I see it!!

This card is for today's new challenge up at Do You Stack Up.  It's a really, really easy challenge this week...

That's right, ANYTHING GOES! Doesn't get easier than that!

And here is something new and exciting at DYSU... Each week (from March on) one of our Top 3 picks will have the chance to become a GUEST DESIGNER for DYSU Challenge Blog for an upcoming challenge!

Random.org will choose the guest designer who will have the chance to introduce herself on DYSU Challenge Blog and will also be able to work with one of our sponsor´s products for that week.

So if you have ever wanted to be a design team member, this is your chance!  Keep an eye on this for more updated info!

This week, we are being sponsored by Black Leaft Studios and Stitchy Bear Stamps.  I used the image named Birthday Girl.  Isn't she wonderful?  I colored her with copics.  I popped the balloons off the card for added dimension.  The flatback pearls were white colored with R29.

DYSU is on Facebook now, so come on over and visit us.
Have a wonderful day!

Hugs,
Marcy

DO YOU STACK UP? New Challenge...DOTS!

This week's challenge at Do You Stack Up is fun!  DOTS!  I happen to love dots and  incorporate  them into my projects very often with papers, ribbons and embellies.

This week's sponsors are A Day for Daisies who is generously offering $16 worth of product from her store and LJL Designs who is giving one lucky random winner 3 digis from their store.

The image I used is named Mother's Apron designed by A Day for Daisies.  You can find it here in their store.  I colored the image with copics.  It's hard to see, but i put some Stickles on the apron ties, hem and bow for a little glitz.  I cut out the apron and popped it off the card.  The dots behind the apron was embossed with the Sizzix folder Snow Balls which is one of my favs.  I cut the dp with a pinking edge to add to the home spun feel.

I hope you will go over to DYSU and check out all the inspiration from the design team.

Have a great day.

Hugs,
Marcy

Have a Great Day

Hi Everyone,

There is a new challenge up over at Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge (MMSC) .  You can make your project by following either of the MMSC 91 sketches.  Of course, you can flip it, turn it, use it any way imaginative.  Upload your card for a chance to win a nice prize, too.

I used the Sunflower image from Priscillastyles.  My favorite flower ever is the sunflower, so it was a natural for me to pick and use this digi for my card.  You can find the image here in Pricsilla's store.
I colored the flower with copics.  I cut it out and popped it off the card.  The sentiment is from Inkadinkado.

Please go over and check out MMSC 91 and see the gorgeous projects the design team make this week.

Have a wonderful day!!

Valentine Puppy

Happy Thursday,
We have a new challenge up over at Do You Stack Up.  As you can tell, it's all about ribbons.  Another very easy challenge to enter.

We have two great sponsors this week:
Kristen Powers Ink who is offering 5 digi stamps to one random winner and
Bugaboo Stamps who is offering 7 digis to a random winner.

This adorable puppy digi is from Bugaboo Stamps and be found here in their store along with some other precious images.
I colored my puppy with copics.  I used a white Sharpie Poster Pen to add the dots on the heart.  The felt flowers and flat-backed pearls are from my stash.

Go on over and check out the wonderful projects the DT has created to inspire you.

Have a great day,

Gingerloft Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I missed yesterday's Gingerloft post.  I had trouble with my computer.  But, today it is feeling better!

There is a new challenge up over at Gingerloft Challenges.  This week our theme is "RED".  Easy enough to go with it, right?

My image is named Flower Jar and can be found here in the Gingerloft Store.  I loved this image as soon as I saw it!  I colored it with copics and added a little Stardust Stickles on the watermelon rind for some glitz.

Please go over and check out the beautiful projects the design team has created for you this week.

Have a great day.

You Are My Rainbow

Hi Everyone,

I don't know about you, but I could use a rainbow about now.  It's supposed to snow AGAIN today!!!
Moving right along...

This rainbow is the newest dollar digi up at Stretch N Bubbles.  Alison will keep it up for a week, so go grab it while you can.

I printed the rainbow two times. Then colored, cut and popped each arch.  Here is a close-up of how I popped it.  The sentiment was computer generated with Microsoft Word.  I embossed the background paper with Cuttlebug's D'vine Swirl.

I added some Stardust Stickles for a little glitz!

Have a wonderful  day.  I'll see you tomorrow with a new Gingerloft challenge.

Hugs,
Marcy

Hey There

OK, it's not bad enough that it snows here in New York twice a week...now we are having crazy ice storms.  This morning, to go to work,  I had to slide to my car and spend 20 minutes chipping and scraping thick ice off the windows.  My car was literally encased in ice!!  Crazy!!

Anyway, this week's challenge at Do You Stack Up is just what the doctor ordered...  This week it´s gettin´ hot in here for Challenge #5: RED HOT

We are sponsored by 3 great companies this week.  Sassy Studio Designs is offering four digi stamps, TLC is kind enough to give a $10 gift certificate to their store and Copic Marker Scrapbooking is giving one winner 6 Copic Ciao markers!

Well, if that doesn't make you go over and check out DYSU, I don't know what will.  LOL

Here, for my card I used Sassy Studios Little Honey's Briar Rose.  Isn't she hot, hot hot??  I colored her with copics.  I added some Stardust Stickles to her wrap and basket for some glitz. When I first saw this image, that old song "Hey There Little Red Riding Hood" by Sam the Sham popped right into my head, so I had to use that phrase.  I computer generated it.  Of course it's nice to use the puter...you can print your words in any color you need!

So go on over and check out the hot projects my talented DT sisters have created to inspire you.

Hugs,
Marcy

Be Mine

 Hi Everyone,

MORE SNOW...YUCK!  I am so tired of it!! I wish it would never ever snow again!!  OK, so now I have ranted, I can move onto my post!

There is a new challenge up today over at Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge (MMSC).  I hope you go over an take a look at the beautiful cards the DT has created.  You have two sketches to choose from; one fancy, the other not.  I always seem to choose the fancy one.  I really like to use embellies!

I used this adorable kitty cat digi  from Priscillastyles.  You can find Be Mine Kitty here in the store.  I colored her with copics and added some stickles in her ears and on her nose.  I paper-pieced the heart.  The paper is from DCWV and the sugar coated flowers are from Prima.  The cat and fish embellies are from my stash.

I hope you all have a wonderful day.  If you live in the Northeast...be careful out there!!

Hugs,
Marcy
