"B" as in Buttons

Hi Everyone, this will be my last post for a couple of weeks. I leave tomorrow for Florida to start getting ready for my son's wedding on Saturday. There is still so much to do. ..I am printing and assembling 130 programs, favor bags and place cards, as well as hotel guest goodie bags, menus and I can't even remember what else the kids have me doing. I am delighted to do it all, of course! I'll post some photos of the ballroom when it is set for the affair.

My NY and NJ friends are also coming down to be with us to celebrate our joy, so we will all be staying on together for an extra 5 days for vacation. Believe me, my DH and I need the vacation.

Here is my submission for the challenge at the cuttlebug spot. This week we are making anything with a button.

"B" Series

Hi everyone. I've been so busy preparing for my son's wedding. I haven't really had enough time left over to devote to creating for my own delight. But I do look forward to the small amount of time I allot myself for creating my Cuttlebug Spot challenges.
Here is my submission for The "B" Series...B as in BLING!

This is a stamping technique called bleaching. You stamp the image twice the cut out the image you are going to bleach. Then using a Clorox Bleach Pen, simple color on the image and the paper color will turn white. Use a pop dot to raise the image. That's it.

I used stickles and crystal rhinestones for the BLING.

Kiddie Valentine

Here is my submission for the "Kiddie Valentine" challenge over at The Cuttlebug Spot. I used the Magic Colored Pencil Technique to add the color and then stickles for a little glitz.

I made the scalloped edge using the Fiskars edge Threading Water. If you measure it just right, you can make perfectly rounded edges. It takes a little forethought, but it is worth it.
