I am super excited to share my project with you today.. :) I used the new set  Crazy Critters.  There are so many adorable stamps in this set...you are gonna love them!

I colored this adorable fox with my Copics.  I gave his nose and eyes some shine with Glossy Accents.  I stamped the stump onto wood patterned paper.  I felt there was no dimension, so I colored it with Copics to give it some life.  I love raffia for embellishment on "natural" cards and used two different colors.  The sentiment is also from the Crazy Critters set.

You've reached the end of the hop.
I hope you will follow the directions above in order to be eligible for some great prizes.

Thank you so much for stopping by today...I always appreciate it!

Hey everyone!
Welcome to a new challenge at Do You Stack Up?! This week is all about RIBBONS!!
We all have yards and yards of those yummy things in our stash.  So let’s take them out and give them some good use.

For this week we have four
 great sponsors:
Crafty Sentiments  Winner's choice of 4 images
The StampingBoutique   Winner's choice of 5 images
Dearie Dolls   Winner's choice of 4 images
I used the adorable image, Mousey Valentine, from Dearie Dolls Digi Stamps.
I think she is just adorable.

After coloring her with Copics, I cut the image out using my Nestabilities Scalloped Ovals.  I distressed and inked all the edges of the card.  Wanting it to be really girlie, I added loads of flowers, ribbon, lace and bling.  I hope you like it as much as I do.

I have another post above this one announcing The Alley Way Stamps (TAWS)
Blog Hop.  I hope you hop along with us for some fun and prizes.

    Thanks for stopping by today.

HUGS

Happy Wednesday Everyone,

How cute are these little chickies?? :)
These acrylic stamps are soooo easy to work with.  Being clear you can always see exactly where to stamp your next image.  I love that !

The chick is from TAWS (The Alley Way Stamps) set named Priceless Joy.  The "Hugs" is from Jibber Jabber.   I punched the scallop with an EK Success border punch and added the ribbons for a fun look.  I colored the chickies beaks with Copics.

Tomorrow we are having a special Blog Hop on TAWS to introduce you to the new February release.  I hope you come back and learn about how you can win some fabby new stamps from TAWS.

Have a great day.
 Hugs,
Marcy

Vroooom

Hi All,

Here is a birthday card for a little boy.  I just love the images from The Alley Way Stamps
Priceless Joy set.  They are easy to color or paper piece.  Here I simply stamped the images onto colored papers and cut them out.  I popped them off the card to give them some dimension.

We are having a blog hop to introduce February's new images starting on Thursday...some great prizes are up for grabs, so I hope you come back.

I'll see you tomorrow with another card, using TAWS.

I've submitted this to:
Hooked on Crafts Challenges - Something Bright
My Craft Spot - Let's hear it for the boys

Thanks for stopping by!

poppin by to say hi

Happy Friday,

Today, I have a little card using the adorable plane and star images from TAWS Priceless Joy set.
The sentiment is from Jibber Jabber.

I stamped the sentiment and free hand cut a cloud around it.  I used  Copic BG000 around the plane and cloud to highlight them.  To make it sparkle, I used red Stickles on the stars.

Have a great day and as always, thanks for stoppimg by!

Hugs,
Marcy

Thanks

Hi Everyone...again!

This is my second post for today and I have some fun news to share with you.
Alison, owner of The Alley Way Stamps (TAWS) is offering free stamps to 3 lucky bloggers who "Like" the TAWS Facebook page.  Here is the post where you can get all the deets.

I made this card using a sentiment from  the Jibber Jabber set.  I really love this set; it has so many wonderful sentiments that can be mixed, matched or stacked for a great look.

I stamped "thanks" with grey ink, so it would have a soft, girly look.  The rhinestone/pearl flourish is from Prima and that sumptuous flower is from Jolee's Boutique.

I hope you have a great day and I'll see you here again tomorrow for another card using TAWS.

Hugs,
Marcy

Congratulations!

Hi Everyone,

This is a special post for me today.  We, at DYSU have a new challenge up and instead of a card, I actually get to show you a scrapbook page.  The challenge is to use...

Patterned Papers

This week's sponsors are:

Copic Marker Scrapbooking 6 Copic Ciao Markers (North/South America)
Martha Stewart punch (rest of the world)

                                                            My Little Shoebox
                                                               Surprise Goodie Bag

Some of us at DYSU were lucky enough to receive wonderful products from My Little Shoebox.  I was so excited when I opened the package and saw all the fabby goodies from their Destination collection.  You really must go over to their site and see all the fantastic patterned papers, stickers, alphas and embellies they have!  It is sure to put a smile on your face!

This page is from an album I am making for my children (Florida branch) who ran their first New York Marathon this past November.  We were so proud of them!

I included photos of the i phone that kept us updated with every mile they completed.  Funny thing is they had a personal goal of finishing the marathon in under 6 hours.  If you can see...they finished in 5 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds!!!!  How awesome is that??

I hope you go over and upload a project with patterned paper.  You can win some great prizes!
I have another post coming today from The Alley Way Stamps, so please check back later.

Hugs,
Marcy

Friend

Happy Monday,

I hope everyone had a great weekend.
Here again, I am using the butterfly image from The Alley Way Stamps set Priceless Joy  for my card.
I am just loving these new acrylic stamps designed by Alison; they are so versatile.

I used a mix of pattern paper from My Mind's Eye.  I stamped the butterfly onto the patterned paper twice and cut them out.  After cutting the circles with my Nesties, I stamped the image again onto the center circle.  I glued the first cut down onto the stamped image.  Then I attached the the body of the second butterfly.  Now the butterfly has some great dimension.  I added some turquoise Stickles for a little glitz.

Here is a close up of the word friend from the Jibber Jabber set.

Have a great day.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs,
Marcy

Happy Birthday

Hi Everyone,

Happy Friday to you all.  Here is another fun card I made using The Alley Way Stamps butterfly image from Precious Joy.  The sentiment is from Jibber Jabber.

I colored the butterfly with Copics and cut it out.  With a small piece of foam tape, I popped it off the page.  A little colorul button and some twine and...done.  So simple, but I love how cheery it is.

Have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Marcy

Welcome Baby

Hi Again!

This is my second post for today :)

How cute is this little elephant?  I stamped him using The Alley Way Stamps set Precious Joy
The sentiment is also from the set.

This is a gift card holder.  I used Nestabilities for the scallops and circles then embossed the white circle with Cuttlebug's Swiss Dots folder.  I colored the elephant with Copics  and paper pieced his little ear.

I hope you go check out the other adorable projects on the TAWS blog the DT prepared for you today.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Hugs,
Marcy

I love you!

Hi Eveyone,

This will be my first post for today.  I have another one coming up after this, so please check back later :)

Today at DYSU we want to see you use PINK in your project.  That is pretty easy with Valentine's Day practically right around the corner!

This week's sponsor:

The Stamps of Life Winner's choice of 2 stamps sets

The DT was so happy to be offered acrylic stamps from this week's sponsor, The Stamps of Life.  It was hard to choose just one set, but I finally made my decision and chose the set named Banners4All.  It is very versatile and I can see using it for many different projects including my scrapbooking.

For this card, I used one of my favorite color combos...pink and brown.  I stamped three of the flags - two times each so that I could have them pop off the page.  I strung through some floss and made those tiny little bows, which was the hardest part of the whole project!  Hee hee.  Then I stamped the sentiment (also in the set), added a die cut flower and some epoxy hearts.  I also inked around the edges with some Distress ink for a vintage feel.

Please go over and check out the other DT projects.  I know you will be inspired!

Hugs,
Marcy

Poppin' By

Happy Tuesday Everyone,

Today is my first day posting for The Alley Way Stamps (TAWS).  I am very excited to introduce you to this adorable acrylic stamp set named Kitchen Gadgets.   This set includes so many adorable kitchen images with great punny sentiments that can be mixed and matched.

I made a shaped card using lots of Nesties.  I colored this adorable toaster with copics.  Then I put a thick layer of Glossy Accents on the black parts to make it dimensional and shiny like on a real toaster.
Next I cut a slot in the top of the toaster to add the sentiment.  I love how it looks like it is popping right out like a piece of toast!

I hope you go over to TAWS blog  and check out the other projects.  There are posts each day, so remember to come back often!

Hugs,
Marcy
