Kaitlin is my niece's dog. One of three dogs. We all loved her. She was small, fiesty and loveable. She was old and quite the sad sack next to her young, big strong sisters (2 giant schnauzers). She had one of those yip yip barks...high and annoying LOL, but she made her point when need be.
She put up with a lot lately. Two new babies added to the house in two years time! Kaitlin was 17 years old. Now she rests in peace and we can surely say she had a good life. My niece asked me to make a tribute page for her and, of course, I did.
I followed this week's sketch at Unscripted Sketches. Go on over and check out the great designs the DT members prepared for you this week.
We are expecting a blizzard here on Long Island. I HOPE NOT!!! I really hate the snow. But, on the bright side, if I am stuck in the house I can get more crafting done!! Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Marcy

Marcy,
This is beautiful and I know exactly what is being felt. If you get a moment check out this link. http://kymkreations.blogspot.com/2009/12/memory-of-friend-and-child.html
I just put a post recently on my blog so similar to this one about our dog. They are a part of our families and you have conveyed that beautifully!
