Florida

Here are the first few pages of the album I made of our trip to Florida in June. My son, Grant, lives in Florida and got engaged to a wonderful girl named Briana . Briana is pretty, sweet and a scrapper; so already you gotta love her.
I don't like to have photos just renting space in my camera and I have many other projects going at the same time, so I made this a rather "simple" scrapbook. I'll post the rest during the week.

Flirty Purse Album

I made this album for a swap with my scrappin girlfriends.
Here is mine: The covers are hand cut from chipboard. The binding is machine sewn for strength and durability. Here are some of the pages.

Here is a hidden magnet folder for added journaling or photo space.

I used loads of embellishments like laces, ribbons, buttons, trims and flowers to give it that flirty look. The handles are beads are all glass and sewn to the cover for durability.

I hope the gal who gets it will be happy.

Have a great night.

Photo Carousel

I finally finished the photo carousel for my niece and nephew, Kelly and Greg. It took me about 1 month to complete it. Of course, I didn't work exclusively on this project, but it was top of mind and always out on the tables in my scrap room.
Greg, Kelly and their beautiful son Shane, live in Florida, so I miss out on a lot of good times.
Greg uploads photos to various sights and I get to enjoy their adventures almost immediately after the action. Then I choose the ones I like, print them and turn them into scrapbook pages for Kelly's albums.
The carousel is from 7 Gypsies. I bought it on Ebay. I also bought the ATC punch so that I could add some pages without the slip covers. This "album" has about 65 pages. Tonight, I will upload some and add more tomorrow.
