Stamped Image Challenge

This week we were challenged to use any stamped image in our project.

Nilda, our tireless leader over at The Cuttlebug Spot, sent me this image of Tilda by Magnolia Stamps. Isn't she just adorable?

I used the Magic Colored Pencil Technique to color the image and the Happy Birthday embossing folder for the sentiment.

Color Challenge

Today was a color challange at The Cuttlebug Spot. We had to design something brown and blue or brown and orange. As you can see I went with the blue. The pattern paper is from DCWV Pet stack.

I used the Magic Colored Pencil Technique with the odorless mineral spirits to color my image.

I used a Sizzix embossing folder called Lines & Circles. I like these Sizzix folders, they are slightly larger than Cuttlebug folders, so you get extra paper coverage. But they run perfectly through the Cuttlebug machine. Of course, use the same sandwich...A plate, B plate, Folder, B plate.

Cuttlebug Challenge

This week our challenge was to make a card and emboss anything but paper. This card is made with vellum. I never embossed vellum before and it works great. You can really get some fine detail when you emboss with vellum.

Disney Album

I made this acrylic album TWICE with a few changes on each. Not that I was present on the weekend getaway, but I am the "Official Family Scrapbooker." So I have the honor of making everyone's scrapbook layouts. I really don't mind. I do feel appreciated.

This one is for my DS & brand new DIL. Later, I'll post the one I made for my dear niece and nephew, who were with my kids on the weekend.

I used a lot of cricut carts.

SCAL!!!!

I asked for and received SCAL as one of my Mother's Day gifts. I am very excited. I have been reading, learning and joining SCAL Yahoo groups for about 2 weeks now. I'll keep you posted on my progress.

Mother's Day is coming!!!

Mother's Day is almost here and I am asking, no advising, that I want SCAL (Sure Cuts A Lot) as my gift from my DH. I have been thinking about it for a long time and have finally decided that I want it. So I made it easy for DH. He always appreciates when I tell him what I want for gifts.
