Flying By

Happy Friday!

This is the new dollar digi available to you this week at Stretch N Bubbles.
I just love this image.  It's hard to find a cute boy/masculine image and this one is just perfect for all kinds of occasions.  Just change the sentiment and it would be great for birthday, congratulations, get well, etc.

Go on over to SNB and grab this adorable image while it is still only $1.00!!

Have a great weekend!

Marcy

SCARED?

Hi All,

Back to Halloween!  LOL!  Here is Stretch N Bubbles' latest dollar digi.  Isn't he adorable?
His name is Gumble.

I paper-pieced Gumble.  It's hard to see, but I put a nice thick coat of Glossy Accents on his eyes and tusks.  It's very shiny in person!
The letters are Gliiter Foam from Thickers.

Remember Alison only keeps these dollar digis up for one week.  So if you want Gumble, hop over to SNB and grab him while you can.

I've also submitted my card to:
Creative Card Crew - Spooky Fun
Paper Take Weekly - Spooky Hues
Divas By Design - Something Spooky

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Marcy

Scaredy Cat!

Happy Friday!!

Isn't this scareD cat just too, too cute?  I love him.  He is this week's dollar digi from Stretch N Bubbles.
Alison changes the dollar digi every Friday...sometimes earlier.  So if you love this guy, go on over
and grab him up!

I colored him with copic greys.  The fence and spooky tree are cuts from Cricut Paper Doll Dress Up.  I find I go back to that cart so often for great prop cuts.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I really appreciate your comments.

Hugs,
Marcy

Happy Friday Everyone,

Well we are hunkering down here in New York.  We are expecting a MAJOR HURRICANE here tomorrow!  Frankly, I am nervous.  The media is screaming about it being the storm of the century.
Anyway, let's hope it is just a "better safe than sorry" scenario.

If you are not in the hurricane's path, you can spend time crafting.   I used this great digi, which is part of a threesome named Little Stems, for only $1.00 at Stretch N Bubbles

How cute are these baby  swaddlers?  The digi went so well with this photo.  The Title is from Cricut's cartridge New Arrival.  The flower was cut with one of the new PTI dies.
I colored this adorable digi with copics.

Please pray that Irene doesn't leave devastation in her path!

Marcy

Dollar Digi

Hi Everyone.

Well I hope you don't get tired of seeing my newest baby nephew, Evan because I took over 1,000 photos during his first week of life and I intend to scrap MOST of them.  LOL

I used this week's Dollar Digi from Stretch N Bubbles.  Teddy is an adorable bear that can be used for so many different projects from cards to scrapbook pages to home decor.  I know I will be using him
again soon.

I colored Teddy with copics then added a tiny floss bow.  The paper is from a stack named
Baby Boy from DCWV.  The sticker sentiments are from Sandylion.

Go on over to SNB and snag this super cute image for only $1.00.  It will only be available for one week!

Have a great day.

Hugs,
Marcy

Our Newest Prince

Happy Thursday Everyone,

I'm back from my loooong vacation in Florida. I loved spending time with my family. This visit was especially wonderful because we were there when our niece, Kelly had her third baby boy...

Evan Alexander

There is a new challenge up at DYSU .  I messed up my timing and didn't make my card for this challenge.  But you should definitely go over and check it out.

I did, however, start making my scrapbook pages with one of the over 1,000 photos I took of Evan.
I used the newest dollar digi from Alison over at Stretch N Bubbles.  This image is named Frog Prince and is available for $1.00 this week only.  The prince theme is especially perfect for us since Evan's father, Greg, is the family's self-proclaimed King.

How cute is Evan??  Here he is only 9 days old.
I colored the froggy image with copics and added stickles to his crown for some glitzy shine.  The booties I put on Froggy's feet, were left overs from one of the hundreds of pages I've made for Kelly over the past four years...Shane is 4, Ethan is 2 and now Evan. LOL.  I have loads of embellies with more to come!!

Have a wonderful day.
Hugs,
Marcy

Sweet Lips

It's Friday, so we have another DOLLAR DIGI special for you up at Stretch N Bubbles.  This will be available for one week only.

I wanted the flag real bright to match Ethan's hair, so I colored it with copics in solid bright colors. I printed the image again onto the orange polka dot paper and cut out the top. So easy to work with these digis!

Go on over to SNB and grab this adorable image for only $1.00. It only lasts till next Friday!

Well, I'm off to the hospital to spend the day with Kelly and the new one that has not yet been named!!
Don't ask!!!!!!!!

Marcy

 Hi Everyone,

This image is named "Marcy".  Hee Hee.  Alison, of Stretch N Bubbles, created her and named her after ME.  How sweet is that??
I am really very flattered!

Marcy is the newest dollar digi available this week at SNB

I made this card for my "daughter-in-love," Briana for her birthday.  She is Totally Special!

I colored Marcy with Copics. Then I added Stardust Stickles to the cupcake frosting and her slippers.
The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch.  The sentiment is from My Sentiments Exactly and the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The pearl sprays are from Prima.

I hope you'll go over and grab this beautiful image while she is still only $1.00!

Happy Valentine's Day

 Happy Saturday Friends,

I've got two projects up today.  First, is the newest Unscripted Sketch challenge card.  This is a very versatile sketch.  I can easily see it working for a scrapbook layout.  The DP is from this year's Valentine's stack from DCWV.  I will be sending this card to my Great Nephews (2 & 4 years old).

Also up is Alison's newest Dollar Digi over at Stretch N Bubbles.  This adorable tree is named Dotted Tree and you can get it for only $1.00 this week...then it goes back to regular price.

I paper pieced the tree rather than color it in.  I printed the image twice - once each on green and brown.  I did use some copic T1 around the edges to give the image some definition.  The sentiment is from a set by Autumn Leaves named "Sentiment Circles."  The hearts are Rain Dots from Fiskars.  I dotted Glossy Accents on the tree berries and around the scallops for some added dimension
.
That's all for today.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Come back tomorrow for a new challenge up over at Gingerloft Stamps.

Hugs,
Marcy

WOOF

Hi Everyone and Happy Tuesday,

We are expecting a huge snowstorm tonight. YUCK!! I really hate the snow. All it does is cause problems, accidents and bad backs. One day I am going to retire to Florida and never have to deal with snow again!! One Day...

Alison has a new dollar digi up over at Stretch 'N Bubbles. Isn't he cute hiding there in the grass? You can pick him up this week for only $1.00. He will only last for one week at $1.00, so go and grab him quickly!

I colored him with copics. I added Diamond Glaze on his nose and stickles on the flowers which I popped off the page. The DP is DCWV and the little dog bone button is from my stash.

Have a wonderful day and don't forget to visit the new challenge blog Do You Stack Up on Thursday for some great inspiration and prizes!!

Deck The Halls

Hi Everyone,

There is another great Unscripted Sketch up today. Some of my DT sisters found it a little hard to use. I thought it was one of the easier ones. LOL you never know what gets your mojo going!!

This image is Alison's newest $1.00 digi available for this week in Stretch N' Bubbles store here. It is named Star Ornament. Alison only keeps these $1.00 digis available for a short time, so get it while you can!

I paper pieced the image by printing it 3 times; once each on cream, green and burgundy CS. After piecing, I colored all the circles in with a Liquid Gold paint pen. I used Martha Stewart's gold glitter which is really, really glitzy (I love it!). The small snowflakes on the side were cut from Snowflake Frameabilities. The sentiment is from one of Studio G's $1.00 stamps.

Have a great weekend everyone. If you are in the northeast like me...
STAY WARM!!

Hugs,
Marcy

Dollar Digis

Hi All,
Well, I am back from vacation. We had a wonderful time!! The weather in Florida was not exactly great, but I didn't care because I am not a sun worshipper (like my husband!) We spent time with our kids and family. We ate a lot and laughed even more. I went to a few scrapbook stores and many casinos!! Needless to say, I left a lot of money everywhere we went!

Alison, over at Stretch 'N Bubbles, has started offering some dollar digis. There will be at least one per week up for grabs for a short time. This week is a Santa stamp called "All is Calm." You can find him here in the store.
I colored Santa with copics and used a Puffy Velvet fabric marker to puff up his beard, cuffs, hat and bird house. Then I added some stickles for glitz.
And don't forget to visit Alison's Free Digital Stamp blog. Every day Alison names and links blogs that offer free digi stamps. It's a fabulous way to try digital stamping and see how easy they are to use. You will visit many sites...some styles you will love, some will just not be your type. But you will get an eduacation in the styles that are availalbe. I have already built up a huge inventory of digis, just from artists that are knid enough to share their talents with us.
Also today, I received a lovely blog award from Zulma. The rules for the award are to:
1. Thank the person that gave it to you. Thank you so much, Zulma.
2. Copy and past the award onto your blog.
3. Share 3 things about yourself that you enjoy. Easy--family, crafting, slot machines!!
4. Pass the award to 5 others:
Alison -Stretch N Bubbles
Beth - IFR
CherylAnn - CherylAnn's Stamping Spot
Becky - Camellia Cottage
Suzanne - The Sparkling Scrapper

Have a wonderful night.
Hugs,
Marcy

AHOY MATEY

Avast Me Hearties,

Isn't this the cutest little pirate you ever did see?? She is available from Stretch N Bubbles here in the shop.

The paper and stickers are from Karen Foster. I colored her with copics. I put a coat of Glossy Accents on her boots for some shine and Sakura clear stardust Gelly Roll on her sword handle. I drew in a deck for her to stand on...very easy to do. I love the netting I had in my stash from an old Luau party I had a few years ago. I know one day I would use it again! Added some rhinestones and...done!

I made this an easel card so she would really stand up.
Yo Ho, my friends,
Marcy

How Sweet You Are

Blog Candy still up for grabs...see Saturday's post.

Happy Monday All,

How yummy does this pie look? Good enough to eat, right? LOL This card makes me feel all cozy and homey.
The image is named Bird Pie and is available at Stretch N' Bubbles here.

I used this week's sketch up at 2 Sketches 4 You, although I am late for submitting, I still like the sketch. I also submitted to Fab & Funky Challenge for Yummy...can't get closer than this for yummy!!

The sentiment is from a Studio G stamp from last spring. The oven mitts are from Jolee's and the flourishes are from Sizzix.

Tonight I will select a winner for the stamps and announce it on Tuesday's post

Have a great day.

Marcy

Fairytale Day

Happy Thursday Everyone,

Well, I made it through Crafting Day at HSN! I did not buy The Imagine, much to my DH's relief. I am hoping that it comes into the store and I will get to demo it. That way I will really see if it is something I will actually use. They did sell almost 10,000 units at$500 a pop. WOW, wish I had a little piece of the action!! Hee Hee

Anyway, back to the real world. This image is named Sally. Isn't she just beautiful? She was designed by Alison over at Stretch N' Bubbles. You can find Sally here in the store. To me, Sally looks like she is thinking if she kisses this frog, maybe she will find her prince...maybe that's just my dream!! Just kidding honey, you have been and always will be, my prince!

I used this week's sketch at Stamptacular Sunday.
Have a super day!
Hugs,
Marcy

UH OH!

Happy Saturday,

I was so looking forward to today, until I remembered that I have to work! Just for a couple of hours, though. I have to demo the Cricut cart Little Monsters at work. It really has some adorable images. I made a couple of cute projects using the cart and I will take some pics to post next week.

Today we have a new challenge up over at Unscripted Sketches. This is a nice, easy sketch so it should get your creativity going! The image is from Stretch N' Bubbles. Her name is Viola Snoots. She is part of the Forest Friends Collection. I don't know her actual story, but she looks like a meanie! Hee hee. You can find her here in the store along with the other friends that are a bit more loveable.

I colored her with copics and added Glossy Accents to her hat for a nice shine. I also colored the 3 flowers to match. The sentiment is computer generated and I used my first thought when I saw Viola...Uh Oh, you are in trouble now!
Big News
Tomorrow, Sunday, we are having a blog hop at Stretch N' Bubbles. Alison has outdone herself with her new super cute
"Squared" Christmas images.
Please ckeck out the hop where you can win one of the digis on each Design Team Member's blog!
Have a great day!
Hugs,
Marcy

Happy Saturday All,

I am happy the weekend is here! My kids are visiting us from Florida this week. It's been fun having some quality time with them. Today we are having a family & friend party at our house to celebrate their visit. I just love when we have everyone over...so much good fun, good food and good laughs.

Saturday also means there is another great challenge up over at Unscripted Sketches. This beautiful elephant is named Ting and was designed by Alison at Stretch N' Bubbles. Ting is another of the great Asian influenced digis in the Zen collection at SNB. You can find Ting here.

I colored Ting with copics. I used a few different Stickles colors -Starry Night, Diamond, Golden Rod and Star Dust. The trim is orange ribbon with hot pink and orange sequins. I found it in my stash. I cannot remember when or why I bought it, but it works so well with this motif.

Well, I have to go start getting ready for my guests. Have a great day and I'll see you Monday with a new Cuttlebug Spot challenge. Thank you so much for stopping by and leavinga comment. I really appreciate it!!

Hugs,

Marcy

Find Peace

Hi Everyone,

Isn't this image darling? It's from Alison at Stretch N' Bubbles. I am just loving Alison's Zen collection. This beautiful girl is titled "A Blessing" and can be found her here in Alison's store.

I followed this week's sketch #152 at Mojo Monday. I colored her with copics. I used Nesties Labels 10 and Cuttlebug folder Birds & Swirls. The sentiment was cut out with Nesties Fancy Labels. I added some sparkle Stickles for a little glitz.
Have a great day, all!
Hugs,
Marcy

Charity

Happy Monday Everyone,

I hope you had a great weekend. We had a break in the weather here for a wee bit in NY. It's great to be able to walk outside and not frizz up in a nano second!

Anywho, this beautiful girl is named Charity and she was designed by the talented Alison over at Stretch N' Bubbles. Charity is one of the new Zen Collection images and you can find her here in the store.

I colored her with copics and added a nice thick coat of Diamond Glaze to her peaches. I also sponged chalk around the image to add some soft color. I cut her out with Nesties Labels 10.

I also entered her into this week's Color Throwdown

Have a wonderful day.
Hugs.
