DYSU Blog Hop

Good morning everyone! Today, I am excited to be doing a Guest Designer stint on my favorite challenge blog, DYSU.  They are doing a blog hop in honor of one of the DT sisters, Meredith, who is leaving the team.

Are you arriving from my talented crafty friend from Puerto Rico, Joan? I always marvel at how creative Joan is.  If you arrived here on your own, I encourage you to start from the beginning.

This week, I'm showcasing Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.  I colored this adorable seal with copics and then popped him off the page.  I put a nice thick coat of Glossy Accents on his ball. This was a perfect challenge for me as I have hundreds of buttons in my stash!

Now off you go to see Mary.  And in case you get lost, here is the full list...
It's been a hoot being back with the gals!  Thanks DYSU.

Hugs,
Marcy

Big Brother

Happy Saturday Morning,

Here is another little outfit I made for my "soon to be here" Granddaughter.
Morty, my kids' beloved dog, is going to be a big brother when the baby comes.

These new generation iron-on's are wonderful compared to the old ones that you had to seal on the edges.  Now they wash beautifully as long as you launder inside out and on gentle cycle.

The business card, is a joke for my kids.  They want the baby to call me Bubby, which is Yiddish for Grandma.  My Mom was "Bubby" to my kids and now they want me to be the Bubby. OK, I kind of felt like the name should be retired when my Mom passed, but they feel otherwise...so Bubby it is!

I have more outfits and things I've made, so if you like baby crafty things...keep an eye out for coming posts.
As always, I so appreciate your visiting me.

Hugs,
Marcy

Creating for Baby

Hi Everyone,

I made a bunch of outfits for my "almost here" baby Granddaughter :)
This is a 4 piece set including a onesie, socks and headband.
I just love these giant flowers on little baby heads!

I sewed the silk flowers together then sewed them onto the clothing.  The large rhinestone on the onesie is sewn on for obvious safety reasons.  The smaller rhinestones are glued onto the socks with
Fabri-Tac.  The headband stone was hot glued.  I put a nice soft piece of felt inside the head band, under the flower to keep baby's head protected.

I can just imagine taking a million pictures of my grandbaby in this outfit!
I'll be back soon with some more outfits I made.
Have a great day!

Hugs,
Marcy
