Monster Birthday Wishes

This is the last day for sneak peeks at The Alley Way Stamps.  I hope you have you been checking them out.  There will be a total of TEN new sets...all adorable!

For my card, I used one of the absolutely adorable monsters from the new Monster Mash set.  This set is loaded with super cute monsters and sentiments that are perfect for boys or girls...after all, girls can be monsters, too! LOL

  This monster reminded me of the old song, "Purple People Eater."  You may be too young to remember it...but I do!   I used the sentiment "monster birthday wishes" to make the background paper.  Isn't he just too, too cute? A bit of ribbon, some punched stars that I stickled and done!

I am super excited to share my project with you today.. :)

  I created this card using the new background stamp named Phraseology.  The stamp actually measures 3 3/4" x 5 1/2".  I just used a small portion for this project.  There are so many words and phrases included on this fun stamp...everytime I look at it, I find more!

I stamped the image onto blue paper and then again onto yellow, since I wanted the sentiment to stand out.  I cut the words out of the yellow paper and used some foam tape to pop it off the card.  I found some eyelet lace and blue rhinestone trim  in my stash that was just perfect for this.

Thinking of You

ZOOM!!

Hi Everyone,

I just love this Beetle!  It's from The Alley Way Stamps set Priceless Joy. 

The card is so fun and bright in person...the photo really doesn't so it justice. The hubcaps are flat-back pearls colored with a Copic marker. 

The background  paper is from the Destination Collection from My Little Shoebox. 

 Love their stuff! :)

Cherish the Small Things

I used my Zutter Distress-it-all to distress the edges...I love that tool!  The paper is from My Mind's Eye,

 6 x 6 Designer Pad.  The brads are from my ever growing stash!

Happy Anniversary

Hi All,

I know this looks like a Valentine's Day card but it is actually an anniversary card for my kid's who are celebrating their 3rd wonderful year together!

This week at DYSU our challenge is to use layers.  Easy peasy.

I got to use the Hot Chocolate image from The Paper Shelter.  This is a fabulous site that offers all things digi. Some images are already colored...I love that.  It made the card making process
soooooo easy :)  You should really check this site out everything is just adorable!

Using Microsoft Word, I imported the image and added my sentiment.  Then I printed the image three times.  I cut the mugs out and popped them up with Pop-Dots. I cut the hearts out of the third copy and popped them up, too.  I used Diamond Stickles to give them some glitz. 

I made these stick pins with some head pins and beads from my stash.

Here is the inside of the card. 

Of course this card is so thick I have to buy a padded envelope to mail it.  LOL

Be Unique!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Today, I created this card using 3 sets from The Alley Way stamps.  I think it's so fun to find different ways to use images. I used the  Background Basics dots for the sky and inked up the chevron with various greens  for grass.  I wrapped some green floss around the card to give Foxy a place to sit.

The cloud was stamped from the Crazy Critters set and the sentiment from Talk to Me.  I ran the sun through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots embossing folder.   I used pop dots to make the cloud and Foxy pop off the card.

The Finish Line

It's Friday...YAY! 

 My project for today is the final page of the album I made for my kids' celebrating

their New York Marathon run. 

 I used the fantastic word bubbles from The Alley Way stamp set named

Talk to Me and mixed it with some other sentiments from Crazy Critters. 

These word bubbles are so fun and versatile. I use them on cards and scrapbook pages.  The best part is that the bubbles are separate from the words, so you can mix and match them with any stamp sets you already own.

Oh Happy Day

Happy Day Everyone,

Today I decided to make a very CAS (clean and simple) card using this adorable

squirrel image from The Alley Way Crazy Critters set. 

I went with one of my fav boy color combos - blue and brown.  To keep to the simple theme,

I only added some coordinating ribbon and  one button for embellishment.

How cute is this puppy, Buddy?  I love him!  "Buddy with Balloon"  is from  Stamp and Create.

I colored him with W grey Copics.  The 5 is a great, glittered foam number from Thickers.  I also used some Stickles on his hat for added glitz.  I went through my stash and found some cute, bright buttons.  Threaded with white floss, I think they are the perfect embellies for this fun, happy puppy.
